By accessing and using RPG Market ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may not use another person's account without permission. RPG Market reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.

3. RPG Market's Role and Limitations

3.1 Marketplace Platform

RPG Market operates as a venue and platform that connects buyers and sellers of tabletop roleplaying games and related products. We provide:

• A website for listing items
• Tools for communication between users
• Integration with Facebook communities where transactions may occur
• A platform for facilitating transactions

IMPORTANT: RPG Market is NOT a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. We do not buy, sell, or take possession of items. All transactions are contracts directly between the buyer and seller.

3.2 How RPG Market Brings People Together

RPG Market is here to bring people together. Sometimes that means a sale happens directly on RPG Market, and sometimes it means two people connect and arrange the sale somewhere else—such as Facebook, Messenger, or in person.

When a purchase is made through RPG Market's platform, we're able to offer:

• Buyer and seller verification
• Secure checkout and payment protection
• Dispute resolution and support
• Communication tools to help resolve issues

When a transaction happens outside of RPG Market (such as on Facebook, through direct PayPal, or in person), we're still happy to have helped connect you—but we can't provide guarantees or protection for those sales. In those cases, please use good judgment, ask questions, and make sure you feel comfortable with the transaction.

We're here to help, not to police how you buy or sell. Our goal is to support the community and make collecting, selling, and trading RPG treasures safe, fun, and easy.

Important: Even for on-platform transactions, RPG Market is a venue connecting buyers and sellers—we're not a party to the sale itself. The contract is directly between buyer and seller. We provide tools and assistance, but we cannot force refunds or guarantee outcomes.

3.4 No Guarantees or Warranties

RPG Market makes NO GUARANTEES regarding:

• Item authenticity, condition, or quality
• Seller reliability or honesty
• Successful completion of transactions
• Delivery of items
• Resolution of disputes
• Recovery of funds in case of fraud or non-delivery

3.5 User Responsibilities

Sellers must:

• Provide accurate, honest descriptions
• Have legal right to sell items
• Ship items as described if sale completes
• Respond to buyer communications
• Comply with all laws and platform policies

Buyers must:

• Read descriptions carefully before purchasing
• Ask questions before committing to purchase
• Use protected payment methods when possible
• Communicate professionally with sellers
• Understand the risks of online transactions

4. Prohibited Items and Activities

You may not use RPG Market to:

• List or sell counterfeit, stolen, or illegally obtained items
• List or sell items that infringe on intellectual property rights
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Manipulate prices or engage in shill bidding
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

5. Fees and Payments

RPG Market charges fees for certain services, including listing fees and commission on sales. Current fee structures are available on our website. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time with reasonable notice to users.

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors, and you agree to their terms and conditions.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by RPG Market and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

By posting content to RPG Market, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

7. Content Standards

All content you submit to the Service must:

• Be accurate and not misleading
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Not infringe any intellectual property rights
• Not contain offensive, threatening, or inappropriate material
• Not contain spam or commercial solicitations unrelated to listed items

RPG Market reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards or our policies.

8. Dispute Resolution and Assistance

8.1 Between Buyers and Sellers

If you have a dispute with another user:

• First: Communicate directly with the other party to resolve the issue
• For Facebook transactions: RPG Market has no authority to intervene. You must resolve through Facebook, your payment provider, or legal channels
• For on-platform transactions: You may request assistance from RPG Market support

8.2 RPG Market's Limited Assistance

If you participate in our Facebook communities and request help:

• We will make reasonable efforts to assist community members
• We may facilitate communication between parties
• We may provide advice or mediation
• We may remove users who violate community guidelines

However, we cannot and do not:

• Force refunds or returns
• Guarantee resolution of disputes
• Recover funds or items
• Take legal action on your behalf
• Provide guarantees beyond what our platform technically allows

8.3 Staying Safe in All Transactions

Whether you're buying on RPG Market or connecting with someone to transact elsewhere, here's how to protect yourself:

For transactions outside RPG Market:

• Use PayPal Goods & Services (not Friends & Family) or other payment methods with buyer protection
• Check seller ratings and history on the platform where you're transacting
• For in-person deals, meet in public places
• Never send money outside secure payment platforms
• Keep all communication and transaction records

For transactions on RPG Market:

• Our platform provides additional tools for verification and dispute support
• You still benefit from using protected payment methods
• Read user feedback and ratings before transacting
• Contact us if you need help resolving an issue
• Report suspicious activity immediately

8.4 Disputes with RPG Market

If you have a dispute with RPG Market itself, you agree to first contact us to attempt informal resolution. For disputes that cannot be resolved informally, you agree to binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where RPG Market operates.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• RPG MARKET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• RPG MARKET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
• RPG MARKET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM TRANSACTIONS BETWEEN USERS
• RPG MARKET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR FRAUD, THEFT, NON-DELIVERY, MISREPRESENTATION, OR OTHER USER CONDUCT
• RPG MARKET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR TRANSACTIONS OCCURRING ON FACEBOOK OR OTHER THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS

You acknowledge and agree that:

• The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
• You use the Service at your own risk
• You are solely responsible for evaluating the risks of any transaction
• RPG Market is a venue, not a participant in transactions
• We make no representations about users, items, or transactions

Similar to eBay: Like other marketplace platforms, RPG Market's role is limited to providing the venue and tools. We cannot and do not verify the identity of users, the accuracy of listings, or guarantee transaction outcomes. All transactions are at the users' own risk.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RPG Market, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Termination

RPG Market may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

12. Changes to Terms

RPG Market reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
