Prohibited Activities
Transactions
You may not:
- Complete purchases or sales outside of RPG Market to avoid fees
- Request or provide payment through unsecured or prohibited methods
- Fail to ship items after receiving payment
- Ship items that differ from the listing description
- Manipulate prices through shill bidding or fake offers
- Engage in bid manipulation or auction interference
- Cancel transactions without valid reason to harm buyers or sellers
- Accept payment knowing you cannot fulfill the order
- Provide false tracking information
- Engage in feedback manipulation or extortion
- Refuse to honor stated return or refund policies
- Demand additional payment after a sale is completed
Accounts
You may not:
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions or restrictions
- Share or transfer your account to another person
- Use another person's account without permission
- Provide false information during registration
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Create accounts through automated means or bots
- Maintain an account if you are under 18 years of age
Listings
You may not list or sell:
- Counterfeit, pirated, or unauthorized reproduction items
- Stolen property or items obtained illegally
- Items you do not possess or have the right to sell
- Digital goods or services (unless authorized product codes/vouchers)
- Items with false, misleading, or incomplete descriptions
- Items using copyrighted images without permission
- Items in categories where they don't belong to gain visibility
- Duplicate listings of the same item to gain unfair visibility
- Items without clear, accurate photos of the actual item
- Items with inflated shipping costs to hide true price
- Items that violate intellectual property rights
- Alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or drug paraphernalia
- Weapons, ammunition, or explosive materials
- Pornographic, obscene, or adult content
- Items that promote hate, violence, or discrimination
- Hazardous materials or recalled items
- Live animals or animal parts from endangered species
- Medical devices, prescription drugs, or FDA-restricted items
- Government identification, licenses, or official documents
- Lottery tickets, raffle entries, or gambling services
- Items without the intent to sell (placeholder listings)
Solicitations & Communications
You may not:
- Spam users with unsolicited messages or offers
- Request contact information to complete sales off-platform
- Advertise external websites, services, or competing platforms
- Send harassing, threatening, or abusive messages
- Use RPG Market's messaging system for non-transaction purposes
- Share or request sharing of personal information inappropriately
Platform Abuse
You may not:
- Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access RPG Market
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the platform
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
- Interfere with or disrupt servers or networks
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
- Distribute viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Circumvent security features or access controls
- Use RPG Market to conduct phishing or social engineering attacks
- Abuse the dispute resolution or customer support system
